"I'm a PC" is striking back. Responding to Apple's introduction of a
new generation of laptops today and the price cut of its low-end model
to $999, Microsoft has released a chart, claiming that "After the Mac
Refresh ... PCs are STILL a better value."
(This follows yesterday's comments by a Microsoft executive that Apple users end up paying an 'Apple tax.')
The chart -- which you can download here (PDF) -- compares the prices and features of PC laptops with three Apple laptops.
